Bench for Bus Riders

Comment:  "Put a bench in by driveway for those waiting for the bus."

Reply:  Thanks for the suggestion.  Many people who use our library also make use of the bus services that are scheduled to stop by during the day at 10 after the hour.  It would be great to have a bench available for those who wait for the bus.  Unfortunately the area where a bench would best be located -- the grassy area between the sidewalk and Locust Street -- is owned by either the County or the City.  You are welcome to make your suggestion to either organization, and I hope you do.  Support for public transit is always a great idea!
