Wheat Sculpture

Comment: Why not put the metal wheat sculpture that was crowded into a small space on the front of the library in the parking lot. It would look nice there.

Response:  The metal wheat sculpture was removed from in location about two years ago in order to complete some repairs to the building.  We talked about moving the sculpture, but discovered that the base had rusted and the piece was in major disrepair. It was not financially feasible for the library to pay to have the sculpture repaired. The Board decided to give the sculpture back to the artist, Bart Woodstrup.
